- 3% 3% cash back on chosen category (gas, online shopping, dining, travel, drugstore, or home improvement) (cap: $2,500)
- 2% 2% cash back on grocery stores and wholesale clubs (cap: $2,500)
- 1% 1% cash back on all other purchases
Exclusions
- 3% category choice is made by cardholder; combined 3% + 2% earn capped at $2,500 spend per quarter.
- Bank of America Preferred Rewards members earn 25-75% bonus (3% becomes 3.75-5.25%) — not modeled.
- Online shopping category covers a broad range of online merchants including cable, streaming, and internet.
